Sarah in Carson

Soledad may be unable to count very well (and I juumped up and howled at the TV when I saw this last week), but no bit of pre-scripted bias can change the size of this event in Carson, deep in blue California:

From an attendee:

.... There were about 25-30 radical Obama protestors that were basically shut down by everyone else who was shouting back at them, “Sarah, Sarah, Sarah.” They were a complete joke, along with their giant posters that showed a woman’s vagina (hand drawn). I guess they thought Palin was going to outlaw them, or something like that.
She was just terrific and pounded the Obama/Biden team hard—boy is she good. There were 15,000 supporters there that just loved her

The vagina poster, of course, brings me back to this point made yesterday...

I don't know...maybe people are just interested in hearing an intelligent person speak for a change:

An analysis carried out by a language monitoring service said Friday that Gov. Sarah Palin spoke at a more than ninth-grade level and Sen. Joseph Biden spoke at a nearly eighth-grade level in Thursday night's debate between the vice presidential candidates.

And do you wonder why the newspapers sound so stupid to you lately? Here's a possible causation:

Overall Grade level: Biden, 7.8; Palin, 9.5 (Newspapers are typically written to a sixth-grade reading level.)

Enlightening...

And yet...when I opened up the newspaapers this AM (both blue state dailies), all I read was the "put a fork in McCain/Palin" refrain.

Nothing about 15,000 people showing up in Los Angeles County to hear Sarah rock. The media would have you think that besides the few thousand or so that were at the Republican Convention, no one else would dream of voting Republican.

Can't wait to see a triumphant Palin holding up a "Obama Defeats McCain" headline a la Truman.

People think she would be a good candidate for a higher office, but to run in 2012, it's not a good idea. The liberal illuminati biased media would ruin her chances again.
