Barack Obama and Israel: Living the Dream!

....the dream of liberals worldwide, of course. More than putting "daylight" between the United States and Israel, Obama has jumped upon the flimsiest of excuses - a nation building homes in its own capital - to degenerate the Jewish nation in a way unprecedented in American history.

Anti-semitism, cloaked in anti-Zionism, has been the coin of the liberal realm for some time. And the further left you go, the deeper the hatred for the Jewish state, and the more reflexive the instinct is to react with hostility towards them, and blame them for all the world's ills.

And yet, there are some that are surprised by the Obama administration's insanely hostile response to the Jerusalem housing fiasco. Not here. Obama has been building up to this moment for some time, with a number of nasty little actions - he's threatened to pull loan guarantees for Israel, he honored raging anti-Semite Mary Robinson with a Medal of Freedom, acknowledged every nation's effort in Haiti except Israel's (the one nation that arguably did the most), he refused to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu, he selected anti-Semite Charles Freeman to chair the National Intelligence Council (before "un-selecting" him), and let's not forget his strong support for ousted Honduran leftist Manuel Zelaya, an anti-Semite par excellence.

This storm was brewing in Obama's gut for some time...back in October:

U.S. officials in recent days expressed to the Palestinian Authority that President Obama's administration is "disgusted" with Israel, a top aide to PA President Mahmoud Abbas told WND in an interview...Palestinianstate envoy...(Abbas aide) Nimr Hamad repeated that the term "disgusted" was used more than once in recent meetings with U.S. envoys to describe the administration's attitude toward Israel.

I wrote this back in January:

Obama feels he can bully Israel, because they're a democracy in danger, and force them to his will, despite the cost in Jewish lives.

It would seem to be (unfortunately) bearing out before our eyes. But maybe I was wrong, and what was perceived as bad foreign policy is more than that; it's destructive full-blown anti-Semitism at the helm of America. Caroline Glick:

Anyone who paid the slightest attention to who Barack [short for Barakeh in Arabic] Obama is before he was elected knew full well that this man is an enemy of Israel. He was a member of an ardently anti-Semitic church for more than two decades. His friends ranged from virulently anti-Israel and anti-Jewish like Edward Said, Rashid Khalidi, William Ayres, Jeremiah Wright, Samantha Power and Susan Rice — among others — to radically post-Zionist like Arnie Wolf, Rahm Emmanuel and David Axelrod not to mention Joe Biden.

Given his pedigree, no one should have been surprised that Obama has chosen to stir up a crisis in his relations with Israel.

No surprise here. Let's see if the American Jewish community is as smart as it thinks it is, and can wake up before it's too late. Remember, we didn't in Nazi Germany...

Pretty disturbing stories in the news about U.S.-Israel relations.

Ironic, the right-wing is suppose to be the more intolerant, racist, and fascist wing according to liberal theory - and yet time and again they prove to be far more racist, fascist and particularly anti-semitic.

I wonder if Obama will try and demagogue the Jews like he has health insurance companies, wall street executives, bank managers, Tea Baggers, gun-clinging rednecks, racist cops, and soldiers.

Probably, T-Fox...especially now that the Israeli government has refused to kowtow to Barack, and has insisted it will continue to build homes in Jerusalem.

Is Obama worried about the Jewish vote? Or is he so convinced they are in the bag for him, that he feels he can do whatever he wants to Israel and still secure their votes in 2012?

Or, as you say, is it healthcare redux - does his anti-Israel flame burns so bright it obliterates all other realities around him?
