Google News: Bias Much?

Grabbed this screenshot off the homepage a little while ago:




Nice picture, too - Romney with arms stretched wide, in the classic "I have no idea" pose.  Sweet crop job!

No doubt an article reprinted from The Nation - self-described as "the flagship of the left - by NPR ("the echo chamber of the left"?) deserves hyper-bold top of the page billing, right?

And the fact that the statement is demonstrably false?

Irrelevant.

Google News is not about getting the news out, or about getting the truth out.  It's about slanting both to fit their liberal narrative, and hopefully change that of the 2012 general election.

It's just the beginning, folks.  Just the beginning....
